Term “emo” has come from the word “emotion”. So, emo poems reflect wide range of personal feelings. Such poems are emotionally provocative and tell about things that couldn’t be discussed with anyone (painful memories, thoughts about suicide or other kinds of emotions). But it doesn’t mean that themes are limited. It is simply examples of the main topics of emo literature.
